Charming farmhouse in the
Umbrian hills, on the border

admire the marvellous view of
the valley below and the

Civita di Bagnoregio, almost
suspended in mid-air between
the Tevere and Lake
Blosena, can only be reached
on foot across a long viaduct.
It is known as “the dying town”
because it is set on a
tuffaceous rock spur that rests
on a clay base.
The slow but unstoppable erosion
caused by the constant
trickling of water is its curse.
The beautiful farmhouse has
recently been renovated conserving
all its precious architectural
features amongst which is
its beautiful stone portal (1682)
that bears witness to its origins.
It has been divided into two big
and welcoming apartments,
both of which have their own
private garden, equipped with
garden furniture, and is the
ideal place for those who still
know how to dream and want
to forget the deafening din and
frenetic way of modern day life,
at least for a while.
There is a large, fenced garden
surrounding the house with a
beautiful swimming pool ( 5 x
10 m ) in a dominant position.
