Monte della Via
An extremely beautiful villa located on a ridge in the Chianti hills at about 500 metres above sea level, halfway between Siena and Arezzo. The surrounding countryside is fascinatine and typical of this district: gentle hills covered with woods, vineyards and olive groves dotted in places with castles, ancient farmhouses and enchanting villages. Because of this location, Monte della Via is an excellent starting off point for visiting the most important tourist destinations in Tuscany, such as Siena, Florence, Montalcino and Pienza or places in Umbria, like Orvieto, Assisi, Perugina and closer at hand Lake Trasimeno. A place of interest not far from the house is the fortified township of Montebenichi, originally a castle and dating back to Lombard times. The villa is surrounded by endless green fields shaded here and there by age-old oaks. The beautiful 5 x 15mt. swimming pool is situated looks out onto a lovely view of Valdambra. Inside the house you can still see the old beamed ceilings and terracotta floor tiles and the tastefully chosen forniture offers you every comfort. There are a number of kitchens all well-equipped with domestic appliances and guests will be able to make their holidays even more enjoyable by personally preparing their meals.
