Fattoria La Pieve
Beautiful and attractive farmhouses originally built from the ruins of a 12th C. abbey set in the quiet sunny hills of The Maremma. Once wild country near the Tyrrenian coast it has been tamed and now is a large tract of countryside with rolling hills and green valleys stretching to the wooded slopes of Monte Amiata. Recently carefully restored maintaining its ancient character the houses still has its old wooden ceilings and terracotta floors. The restoration has made several beautiful and comfortable apartments each furnished in Tuscan country style. The 8 x 16 m swimming pool is in the garden surrounding the house.
